April 2026 Blog

April Blog

April always feels like a season of momentum and possibility. As the weather warms and the end of the school year comes into view, many families begin looking ahead to summer. With that anticipation often comes a mix of excitement and a bit of stress as schedules, plans, and transitions take shape.

At the Dyslexia Achievement Center, we feel that same seasonal shift. April is a time for reflection when we celebrate the growth we’ve seen in our students while also looking ahead to the opportunities summer brings. We are actively planning engaging small group offerings designed to provide both enrichment and a sense of fun, helping students continue learning in a supportive and encouraging environment.

This month also brought the Wisconsin Title I Association (WT1A) Conference, which we helped sponsor and attended. It was an inspiring experience filled with learning, collaboration, and celebration. We deepened our understanding of Tier 1 and Tier 2 evidence-based instructional practices and explored strategies for teaching complex texts. We’re excited to bring this knowledge back to our center and put it into action to better support our students.

Most importantly, we want to thank our clients for trusting us with your children’s learning. We understand firsthand how overwhelming it can feel when your child is struggling, and we are truly honored to partner with you in supporting their growth and success.
