Jenny Close brings 32 years of experience as a classroom teacher. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater. In addition, she has completed specialized training in the Science of Reading through the Keys to Literacy curriculum.

Outside of education, Jenny works part-time at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. She is the proud mother of two children and delights in spending time with her family and friends. In her free time, she enjoys attending sporting events, reading, and listening to music.
