Carolyn Hottinger

Carolyn Hottinger recently retired from teaching after 33 years.  She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Reading from UW Whitewater. In addition, she holds an Administration license and Director of Curriculum license- both earned at Concordia University. Carolyn is trained in the Science of Reading with the Top Ten Tools and Keys to Literacy curriculum. Carolyn also works part time at Marquette University as an Academic Enrichment Coach- meeting with student athletes to help them multitask their responsibilities with academics and athletics.  She is married with 3 adult children and a dog named Rocky. In her free time, she enjoys visiting her children, reading fiction novels, and playing tennis.
