Andrea Frankenberry

Andrea Frankenberry has had 30 years of experience as a reading teacher. She holds a Master’s Degree in Reading Intervention and a reading license from the State of Wisconsin. She is also a certified Orton-Gillingham instructor. She began her teaching career in the Milwaukee Public Schools at the elementary and high school levels and later taught College Reading and Study Skills to at-risk freshmen at Cardinal Stritch University. Before joining the staff at the Dyslexia Achievement Center ten years ago, she was the Learning Specialist in a K-8 Catholic school. Andrea loves working with children and is currently teaching at both our Elm Grove and Mequon centers. She believes all children can learn how to read and love literature given instruction that best meets their needs.
