August Highlights: Supporting Students and Celebrating Community

August has been filled with exciting moments at the Dyslexia Achievement Center!

Our Second Annual Golf Outing Was a Success!

We are thrilled to share that our Second Annual Read & Succeed Golf Outing was a wonderful success! The event brought our community together for a fun day while raising support for the Read & Succeed Project.

The Read & Succeed Project helps provide intervention and assessment services to children and adults with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia who may not otherwise be able to afford them.

We are incredibly grateful to all the golfers, donors, sponsors, volunteers, and staff members who helped make this event possible. Your generosity and support allow us to continue increasing access to life-changing services in our community. Thank you for helping make this year’s golf outing such a success!

Our Students Wrote 60 Letters to “The Miz”!

Our students have also been hard at work participating in the Miz Writing Project, inspired by Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Jacob Misiorowski and his openness about his experience with dyslexia.

Together, our students wrote an incredible 60 letters! This project gave them an opportunity to practice their writing skills while connecting with someone who understands some of the challenges they may experience. It was wonderful to see their creativity, encouragement, and confidence shine through.

The letters are being sent to the Milwaukee Brewers, and we cannot wait for them to be received!

Good Luck to Our Students!

As summer comes to an end, we want to wish all our students the very best as they return to school! We are incredibly proud of the progress they have made, the hard work they have put in, and the confidence they continue to build.

A new school year can bring both excitement and challenges, but we hope each student remembers how capable they are. We are cheering you on and look forward to supporting you throughout the school year!

Thank you for continuing to support the mission of the Dyslexia Achievement Center and the Read & Succeed Project!
